How to Assemble IKEA LENNART Drawer Unit

Step-by-step assembly

1. 

   Step 1

   Join the two side frames with the 2 cross bars.

   The cross bars go at the bottom ends of the posts.

   Step 2

   Fix the cross bars with 4 screws (116654).

   One screw through each post into the cross bar.

   Step 3

   Stand the frame upright.

   Press the top down onto the 4 posts.

   Screw the top to the posts with 4 screws (116654).

   2 on each side.

   Lay the unit down on its front.

   Screw the 2 cross braces to the back posts — 4 screws.

   The braces cross over each other in an X.

   Push a castor (122567) into the end of each back post.

   Press until it sits fully in the tube. 2 castors.

   Stand the unit upright.

   The castors are at the back.

    Step 10

    Now the drawers.

    Fold up one side of the drawer.

    Check which way the edge flange points — see the manual, step 7.

    Fold up the other side.

    Slide the front and back panels into the grooves.

    Push them in from the ends until they sit flush.

    Lock the drawer with 8 push rivets — click!

    Sleeve 10050916 first, then pin 10050917. 4 in the sides, 4 down into the floor.

    Build the other two drawers the same way.

    Rest the drawer lips on the runners and slide the drawers in.
