How to Assemble IKEA LISABO Chair

No tools needed — the Allen key (100001) is included.

Step-by-step assembly
Step 1
Slot the two leg frames together at the cross joint.
Check which frame goes on top — see the manual, step 1.
Step 2
Push the small block into the front of the cross joint.
Press it in flat, as shown in the manual, step 2.
Step 3 · manual step 2
Insert 4 screws (100212) with the Allen key — not tight yet.
2 through each rail into the block. Leave a small gap under the heads.
Step 4 · manual step 3
Now tighten the 4 screws.
The heads must sit flush with the wood.
Step 5 · manual step 4
Hold the backrest against the front of the back posts.
Step 6 · manual step 4
Fit 4 bolts (10087753) from behind — not tight yet.
2 through each back post. Leave a small gap under the heads.
Step 7 · manual step 5
Tighten the 4 backrest bolts.
The heads must sit flush against the posts.
Step 8 · manual step 6
Lay the seat face down on a table.
Step 9 · manual step 6
Turn the frame over and set it on the seat.
The backrest hangs over the edge of the table.
Step 10 · manual step 6
Insert 6 bolts (123595) through the frame into the seat.
Use the Allen key. Don’t tighten them yet.
Step 11 · manual step 7
Now tighten all 6 bolts.
Every head must sit flush with the rail.
Step 12 · manual step 7
Turn the chair upright.
Tips & safety
- Check that every bolt sits flush. The manual shows no gap under any head once tightened (steps 3, 5 and 7).
