How to Assemble IKEA HEMNES Glass-Door Cabinet with 3 Drawers

Step-by-step assembly

1. 

   Step 1 · manual step 1–2

   Drawer: push 4 dowels (101345) into the sides.

   Lay the front face down and screw in 2 cam bolts (123492).

   Press both sides onto the front. Lock with 2 cam locks.

   Cam locks 110630, turned clockwise with the flat-head screwdriver.

   Slide in the bottom, fit the back and tap in 4 screw dowels.

   Screw dowels 110519 — use the hammer.

   Turn the drawer over. Screw on 2 runners (130501).

   4 screws (108462) — 2 in each runner.

   Turn it upright. Fit 2 knobs (10122514) with screws 109564.

   The screws go in from the inside of the front.

   Build the other 2 drawers the same way.

   Middle drawer: steps 10–18. Bottom drawer: steps 19–27 (6 screw dowels).

   Lay both side frames flat. Screw on the 2 foot blocks.

   2 screws (100211) each, with the Allen key. Then screw in the 4 feet (102728).

   Fit 6 runner supports with dowels (101350).

   Fix each one with a screw (100211) and the Allen key.

   Screw 16 cam bolts (118331) into the side frames.

   8 in each frame.

    Fit 4 hinge plates (128711), then 6 runners (130501).

    Tighten the plate screws. Each runner: 2 screws (107716).

    Stand the fixed shelf on the left side frame.

    Lock it with 2 cam locks (110630), turned clockwise.

    Push a dowel (101350) into each rail. Stand the 6 rails on the frame.

    Lock each with a cam lock. Check which rail goes where — see the manual, steps 37–42.

    Push 6 dowels into the rail tops. Lower the other side frame on.

    Two people. The bolts and dowels go into the rails and the fixed shelf.

    Six in the rails and two under the fixed shelf.

    Push 2 dowels (101350) into the frame. Fit the top.

    Fix it with 7 screws (100211) and the Allen key.

    Turn the frame onto its front. Fit the 2 back panels.

    Fix the back with 9 clips (122723) and screws (109560).

    3 along the fixed shelf, 3 at the top and 3 at the bottom.

    Stand the cabinet up. Turn the feet until it stands level.

    Two people. Check with a spirit level.

    Screw 2 wall brackets (119256) onto the top, then fix them to the wall.

    Screw 109560 + washer 100823 into the top. Wall screws and plugs are not included.
