How to Assemble IKEA BRIMNES Wardrobe with 3 Doors

Step-by-step assembly

1. 

   Step 1

   Screw 2 cam bolts (118331) into the divider by hand.

   Lay the divider on the rug.

   Push in 2 dowels and fit the fixed shelf. Lock 2 cam locks.

   Turn the cam locks clockwise with a flat-head screwdriver.

   Turn it over and fit the bottom panel on 2 dowels.

   Fix it with 2 screws (100214) and the Allen key (100001).

   Screw 3 hinge plates (109220) onto each side, then 8 cam bolts.

   2 screws (105248) per plate. 4 cam bolts (118331) per side, by hand.

   Push in 6 dowels, then fit the right side panel.

   The bolts and dowels go into the holes in the panel edges.

   Insert 4 cam locks and turn them clockwise.

   2 in the bottom panel, 2 in the fixed shelf.

   Fit 2 brackets (10038685) and 2 feet to the plinth, then fix it to the right side.

   2 screws (105248) per bracket, 1 more into the side.

   Push 6 dowels into the 2 rails, slide them in, and fit the left side.

   Two people: tip the left side panel on.

   Lock 4 cam locks, then screw the plinth to the left side.

   1 screw (105248) through the bracket.

    Fix 3 angle brackets (102553) between the rail and the bottom.

    Into the rail: 105248. Into the bottom: 109049 — not the longer 109567.

    Push in 6 dowels. Screw 4 cam bolts into the top panel.

    Then tap the 3 fittings (123840) into the top panel with a hammer.

    Fit the top panel. Lock 4 cam locks and add 2 screws (100214).

    The 2 screws go through the top into the divider — use the Allen key.

    Lay on the back panel, square it up and nail it on.

    Hold the nails (101293) in the nail guide (105494). Use all 58.

    Screw the 2 wall brackets (106989) onto the top. Then stand it up.

    Screw 109049 with washer 100823. Two people tip it upright.

    Turn it round, push it against the wall and fix it to the wall.

    Screw 109567 + washer 100823 through each bracket. Use plugs suited to your wall.

    2 screws (105248) per plate.
